Metro Sports broadcasts the Hy-Vee High School Game of the Week each Friday at 7 PM on Metro Sports during the school year. It also replays throughout the weekend. The Game of the Week features the top teams and top contests in the area in football, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, baseball, soccer and other sports.

Kevin Wike holds down the play-by-play responsibilities. For football color commentary, Metro Sports turns to former Chiefs player Rich Baldinger. Former North Carolina and Kansas player Doug Elstun takes the analyst chair during basketball season.
